I am happy to participate in the 7th edition of the AWAGAMI International Miniature Print Exhibition. This is the first time that I have made a submission. This was an exciting international call to artists as Awagami Factory actually shipped a pack of their wonderfully lush washi paper directly to artists that we could use to create our submissions.

Information about my submission to A.I.M.P.E’ 2025 – International Miniature Print Exhibition. “Agitated” will be on display from October 11th – November 9th, 2025 at the Inbe Art Space (116 Tateishi, Yamakawa, Yoshinogawa City, Tokushima, Japan).

Awagami Factory proudly holds the bi-annual “AIMPE” miniprint juried show in Yoshinogawa, Tokushima; the old home of Japanese washi paper. We invited print makers the world over to enter this year’s AIMPE show in its 7th iteration.
AIMPE is unique in that all submitted (A4-size) miniprints must be created on Japanese washi. All artists who entered AIMPE were shipped a diverse washi sample set from Awagami.
The goal of the AIMPE 2025 is to bring together contemporary print works from across the globe in an effort to celebrate the creativity of today’s printmaking community while introducing the wonders of washi paper (a cornerstone of Japanese culture) to a new generation of talented artists.
It is our hope that this exhibition (and its related events) will not only encourage international print makers but will also inspire & educate the traditional Japanese paper making community.
