A Kind of Paradise – Couper en couleur numérique
This new series is a tribute to honour French visual artist Henri Matisse (1869 -1954) – I also share in his finding of profound beauty in the simple elements of life, captured through colour, shape, and pattern.

Along with first living at the Hôtel Beau Rivage, I read that Henri also lived at 105 Quai des États-Unis in Nice, France. I had to double check the address of the apartment we stayed in while in Nice in April, 2024 and it was just down the street at number 93.
I now understand what he meant about “the light” and the majestic views from the window that overlooked the Baie des Anges – (Mediterranean sea). Truly energizing to your soul!
